Reading with Mrs Blackburn

I was doing well and I got up to Level Green, Blue and Purple. Some of them were hard because they were hard words and a wee bit easy words. I got stickers because I worked so hard and  bookmark that we need to find.

Toothless The Dragon

A Dragon's Adventure

Name: Toothless

Habitat: Mighty Castle

Likes: Blood and Chocolate

Dislikes: Schools and Cars

Once upon a time there were fourteen dragons at a castle. They were sneaking around looking for food and people to eat. They found ice cream and chocolate because they love sweet stuff. When they stayed there that they got bigger, grew stronger and started to fly faster.

Then they flew to the circus, knocking down awesome things on the way. When they arrived at the circus they did basketball tricks and flipping tricks with the ball upside down on their feet. They did a trick flying in an aeroplane jumping down. The plane was flying upside down.

They left the circus and rode on a bus. Every person in the bus jumped out except the bus driver. The bus driver didn't know the dragons were on top. Once they got to the airport they flew up and got into the plane and ate everyone, even the pilot. There was only blood on the floor. The plane crashed and blew up and all of the blood was all over the land. You could only see the people's bones.

Then everyone got saved because this pirate crew came along and killed the dragons. Everyone thanked the pirates for saving their land.

Netball

I was playing netball. Someone has to stand in the middle and someone has to stand by the back when you throw it.

I was standing and throwing the ball to Isaac and Koby and then Koby is throwing it to Angus.

I like netball because its good because we get to throw ball to each other and play games. We play Flush and Octopus.

Flush is when there are two taggers and then when someone comes and touches you you go back out and start running.

My favourite game is hockey because because I love the hockey sticks when you get the ball. I love rugby and also I go to rugby practice. I’m in the Hurricane team and we are versing the Crusaders. Our team wins a bit and we get three points and the other team only gets two points because they don’t really get our goal.

I was one of the fastest runners.

One of my old friends was there but I can’t remember my old friends name.

The Three Little Pigs - The Big Bad Wolf

I was trying to make a house for the three little pigs.
I made my house out of cardboard and polystyrene.

I was going to fold the paper and put the polystyrene things on. I folded it one more time. I made one little wall. Then I made the other side.

I was getting red paper for putting on the polystyrene.





When we were outside I was doing my play. I was the Big Bad Wolf in the Three Little Pigs. I blew down the the straw house when we were performing our play.Then I was blew down the stick house. Then I was trying to blow down the brick house but I couldn't.





I tried to go down the chimney but I couldn't because it was hot. There was a big bowl of water in the fireplace. My bum went in it first and it hurt. A helicopter came down and took me out. Then I went back down to my house hiding. I never wanted to come back again because it was freaky,

Blake's Birthday Plans

On Saturday it's going to be my birthday. I'm going to have a family birthday and it's going to be real fun. First I get to go to Drexels. I am going to have pancakes with maple syrup.  I'm going to have a drink of fizzy. My favourite fizzy is coca cola.

After I have been to Drexels I am going to go to Time Zone.

I am going to play a pirate game. You have a steering wheel and guns. You have to shoot the bad ones. My sister was playing with me. I asked if I could play by myself and I got golden points. You have to shoot the pirates and the diamonds.

After I have been to Time Zone I am going to get my chocolate cake. My cake is going to have Batman on it.

When I get to go to work with my Dad and Mum

On the holidays I went to my dad's work. The trucks were big and the trucks were heavy. When the people work in the trucks its really hard when it's raining. When it's training the truck might fall over.

The trucks carry horses to other places. It is fun when I get to go in the truck and pick up the horses. Sometimes the horses kick the truck. One time the horses were kicking the side of the truck and there was a big mark A big piece of wood came out and we had to put a new bit on. My dad told me that someone put a new bit of wood on.

When I go with dad we stop somewhere to eat. Day says, "why do we always have to stop?" I say, "because I'm hungry, because you don't feed me much." I like to stop for a hot dog and a chocolate Up and Go.

Dad is a good truck driver. He stays on the right side of the road. Sometimes he goes on the other side of the road when there is water coming down. He looked in the mirror and said, "What was that?"

Mum doesn't drive the truck. Mum doesn't drive anything. She works at a work called the NZI. She works with computers and sells houses. There is a guy called Sean who helps her. Mum drives a car to work. Mum stays on the right side of the road. she doesn't do what dad does.

We were playing games to learn how to play netball.

I am tagging people on the legs. It is a game to tag people on the legs.

I am running to try and tag people. I am trying to get the most points.

I am tagging Bryar. It is fun when you tag people.

I am trying to hop on one foot and tag people. It was a wee bit hard because I can’t hop that far.
